A common question that people have is how many reusable menstrual pads they need to get through their period. It really depends on how heavy your flow is, as well as how often you do laundry. However, here’s some general advice about how many reusable pads you need.

Most people need 5-6 cloth menstrual pads to get through their period. You can get away with fewer if you have a very light period, or do laundry quite frequently.

How Many Reusable Pads for Incontinence?

If you use reusable cloth pads for incontinence issues, then you’ll perhaps need more, or less depending on your situation. You might have very few problems and wear the same pad for the entire day.

In this case, you’d need only a few of them, depending on how often you do laundry.

If you change out your pad multiple times a day, then you might need more than 20 of them.
